Merrill Cecilia Lefevre, 59, of Manchester, passed away Thursday November 10, 2022 after a short but courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born on May 2, 1963 in Cranston RI, she was the beloved daughter of Arthur Lefevre Jr. and the late Lorraine Alexina (Imbeault) Lefevre.
Merrill worked for many years in property management and served her community in various capacities at the state and local level. She enjoyed entertaining, was an excellent cook, a green thumb, and above all she loved spending time with her family. A great source of joy was when she was recently made a “Nonna” to her grandchild Skye. She was a member of the Elks club, an avid animal lover, had a worldwide network of friends she played games with online, loved the beach, horseback riding, and had recently taken up hiking as a hobby. Her favorite trails were around the Porter Reservoir in Manchester.
In addition to her father, Merrill will be forever missed by her son, William Kidd and wife Meghan Fitzgerald; her daughter, Michelle (Kidd) Tourville and beloved granddaughter Skye; her son, Michael Kidd; her daughter, Alycia (Kidd) Bellody and husband Jeffrey and her brother, Steven Lefevre, as well as many extended family members and friends. Merrill also leaves behind her adored Shiba Inu, Chloe.
Family and friends may celebrate her life on Sunday, November 20th from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. with a service at 1 p.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Merrill’s memory to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Ave., Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266 or online at pancan.org.
