Philomena Elizabeth Hudson

Philomena “Philly” (Clarke) Hudson, 75, of Wethersfield, beloved wife and mother passed away peacefully on March 3, 2020. Born on September 1, 1944 in Halifax Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Elizabeth Campbell. Philly was blessed to be married to Al for 23 years. She leaves behind her favorite daughter, Tracey Clarke, as well as her niece, nephew and a wonderful extended family. Philly certainly made sure to find fun wherever she went, whether it was at a kitchen table, a favorite restaurant, traveling to the Caribbean or spending time with her family and treasured friends. Philly was predeceased by her first husband, Tom Clarke, her sister Bonnie Bellefontaine and her sister-in- law Ann Nodwell.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 4 – 6:30 p.m. on Monday (March 9th) at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield. A prayer service will take place at 6:30 p.m. in the funeral chapel on Monday evening at the conclusion of calling hours. Per Philly’s wishes, a celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
