Salvatore LaRosa

Salvatore LaRosa, 54, of North Granby, beloved husband of Annmarie (Eckert) LaRosa, passed away on Sunday (March 17, 2013) at St. Francis Hospital. Born on January 19, 1959 in Avola, province of Siracusa, Sicily, he was the devoted son of Sebastiana (Quaranta) LaRosa and the late Concetto LaRosa. Sal worked as a welder for many years and in the auto and pipe industries and was a member of the Canicattinese Society of Hartford. In addition to his wife and mother, Sal is survived by his daughter, Nicole Pelletier of Hartford; his sons, Dale, Shane, Patrick and Nicholis Hope, all of Massachusetts and his granddaughter, Savana Rose (Rosie) Little-Hope.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday (March 22) at 11 a.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. The family will receive friends and relatives prior to the service, from 9:30-11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Annmarie to assist with funeral expenses.
