

Vincent Costanzo, 58, of Farmington, formerly of Newington, passed away Tuesday (February 10, 2009) at Salmon Brook Health Care, Glastonbury. He was born July 19, 1950 in Hartford and is the son of Anna Anita (Migliore) Costanzo and the late Nunzio Costanzo. Vincent was a graduate of Central Connecticut State College. He owned and operated Willard Spirits on Willard Avenue in Newington for many years, later to be the manager of RJ's Spirit Shop in Simsbury for 27 years. Vincent loved to be with his family, play the piano, take care of his home, working in the yard, dancing and sometimes relaxing and pondering life. He was a longtime New York Giants fan. He will be sadly missed by his family. Besides his mother he is survived by a son, Steven Bowers and his wife, Kathleen, granddaughter, Kayla, niece, Jessica DeLuca and her husband, Christopher, grand nephew and niece, Nicholas and Braelyn, a nephew, Jason Azarigian, aunt, Santina Gianni and a very special uncle, Sebastian 'John' Gianni and aunt and uncle, Anna and Emanuele Migliore as well as many cousins, among them two very dear and close cousins, Jack Migliore and Antoinette Kisluk, also two very dear and close friends, Renato 'Ron' Nardi and Bill Daum. Besides his father, he was predeceased by a sister, Josephine Azarigian. A special thank you to the staff at John Dempsey Hospital and Salmon Brook Health Care for the love, care and compassion shown to Vincent and his family. Funeral Service will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 505 Willard Avenue, Newington. The burial will be private at a later date. Calling hours will be Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
