Norma Hope Wine Berry

Norma Hope (Wine) Berry, 91, of Delaware, Ohio, died Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Willow Brook at Delaware Run. She was born January 3, 1925 in Augusta County, Va., daughter of the late Nelson P. and Virginia C. (Hudson) Wine. She graduated from Mt. Sidney High School and attended the University of Maine in Orono, Maine. Mrs. Berry was a member of the North Community Lutheran Church in Columbus, Ohio, and a member of the Worthington, Ohio, Historical Society and the Worthington Hills Women’s Club. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen F. and Genevieve Berry; a grandson, Jonathan and his wife, Amie, of Lewis Center, Ohio; great-grandchildren, Megan and Alex Berry; three brothers, Dr. Philip M. Wine of Manassas, Va.; Shelton G. Wine of Waynesboro, Va.; and John W. Wine of Staunton, Va.; and sisters-in-law Betsy C. Williamson of Richmond, Va., and Selma Wine of Staunton, Va. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick H. Berry; and two brothers, Palmer F. Wine and Harold H. Wine. A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 5, 2016 at Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Wright officiating.
