Ottie Ryerson Kugler

Ottie Ryerson Kugler, 96, a resident of Bridgewater and formerly Weyers Cave, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2023. She was born on May 9, 1927 in Pompton Lakes, NJ and was the daughter of the late Norman T. and Pearl Thompson Ryerson. Mrs. Kugler attended schools in New Jersey. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was custodian at the church before retiring in 1984, she then moved to Weyers Cave, VA. On November 25, 1945, she married Robert W. Kugler, who preceded her in death on May 8, 2004. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Heywang and Sandra Sisco; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Valerie Watson. According to her wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no services. Lindsey Funeral Home in Harrisonburg is handling arrangements.
