Quentine Ray Redifer, 38, of Weyers Cave passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem.
He was born on June 30, 1985 in Harrisonburg and was the son of Charles P. Redifer, Jr. and Kelly Lam Redifer of Weyers Cave.
Quentine attended Fort Defiance High School and graduated from Genesis. He played little league football and also for Fort Defiance High School. He loved his family and children and racing his car with his friends.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two children, Quentine R. Redifer, Jr. and Alexis Redifer both of Bristow, VA; a brother, Christopher A. Redifer and Dixie of Mt. Sidney; a sister, Felicia Thompson and Dillion of Grottoes; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by paternal and maternal grandparents; uncles, Amos Lam, Jr., Robert “Bobby” Lam, Lester Lam and Cecil Redifer; aunts, Eva Rogers and Wilma Deviers.
The family will receive family and friends 5-6 pm, Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Lindsey Funeral Home in Weyers Cave. A funeral service will follow at 6 pm, with Pastor Jacob Myers officiating. Following the service, he will be cremated.
