Deveau, Catherine Mary - 66, Weaver Settlement, Digby Co., passed away September 29, 2008, in Digby General Hospital. Born in Weymouth she was a daughter of the late Fredrick and Laurette (Saulnier) LeBlanc. Catherine was an avid card player, crafter and bingo player. She was a member of the Catholic Women’s League (C.W.L.). She is survived by husband, Harley; daughters, Sandra (Trevor) Denton,Weymouth; Brenda Deveau, Digby; sons, Allan (Juliette), Weymouth; Edward, Church Point; Kelly (Jenny), Marshalltown; sisters, Teresa Gaudet, Irene Drew, Cecile Marr; brother, Emile LeBlanc; grandchildren, Mitchell and Shawn Small; Karley, Jordan, Ryan, and Karyn Deveau; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister, Mary Rose Robicheau; brothers Desireé, Philip Arthur, and Peter LeBlanc. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today and Thursday, Jayne’s Funeral Home, Weymouth North. Prayers at 7 p.m. Thursday. Funeral service 10 a.m., Friday in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Weymouth, Father Marek Pecak officiating. Donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
