John David Thibodeau

Thibodeau, John David, age 87, of Ashmore, passed away November 12, 2022 in Valley Regional Hospital with his daughter Corrina by his side and a special friend on the phone as well as Tina Raymond and Terry Thibodeau present.

Born in Ashmore, he was a son of the late Lawrence and Edna (Thibault) Thibodeau. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, and playing his guitar. He also worked in the woods cutting wood.

He is survived by daughter, Corrina Thibodeau; sisters, Gracie, Sadie “Caroline”; brothers, Joseph Thibodeau NB; Roy Thibodeau, Halifax; 9 grandchildren, 5 adopted grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Donna Barry; second wife, Janet Gaudet; brothers, Daniel, Thomas; sisters, Barbara, Rose, Catherine, Beatrice and Marion.

Funeral service will be held at 2pm, November 22, 2022 from Jayne’s Weymouth, Pastor Nathan Waterman will officiate with burial to follow in the Ashmore Baptist Cemetery. There will be a memorial service held for John in Savary Park at a later date. Donations in memory can be made to the charity of your choice.
