Hard to believe a year has passed since we lost Bob. Think of him and Lucy often and miss them very much.  Sending love and hugs to their family members.

Uncle Bob was so proud of this cartoon  drawing a friend of his made for him at Crestwood Manor.  He loved it so much that he actually mailed me a copy of it! He was so sweet and I miss our daily talks so much. 

So very sorry that Bob has passed.  So many wonderful memories of time spent with him and Lucy over the many years.  Even when I visited with him recently, he was still the dapper gent he always was, and we were still able to enjoy a glass of wine.  Although we were not technically related, I consider myself family.  Bob was always generous with his time and his humor.  And we could debate the pro and cons of Fox News as recent as two years ago.  He so loved Lucy of course--and my mom and dad.  I will miss him very much as I still miss Lucy.  So very sad these important and wonderful people are no longer with us.

Dear Uncle Bob ,

You will be very missed by all of us.  We are so sorry that you had to suffer in your final days but we know that you are reunited with Aunt Lucy and we take comfort in knowing this.  Sending much love to you in heaven knowing that you will watch over us.

Uncle Bob has had a long and productive life consisting of serving in the military during WWII. Continued service with Curtis-Wright. He was a wonderful Uncle and will be missed. He is now with his beloved, Lucy. RIP Love, Johanna & family
