Agnes Watson Brown, 94, of the Whiting section of Manchester Twp., passed away peacefully on Monday January 26, 2015 at the Pines at Whiting, Hamilton Place with her family by her side. She was a secretary for Western Electric in Kearney for 10 years, retiring in 1952. She was a homemaker who always stayed busy. Born in Kearney, she resided in Pine Beach and in Chatham before moving here 21 years ago. While a resident at The Pines, she was the chairman of the welcome committee, a member of the scholarship committee, the food committee and was also a choral assistant and was member of the Pine Cone Singers. She is predeceased by her husband the late David Brown. Agnes is survived by her two daughters, Nancy Brown of Toms River, and Lynelle Doren and her husband Todd of Hadon Hts., and two grandchildren, Tara Brown and Angela Doren. Cremation is private. A Memorial Service will be scheduled at The Pines at Whiting with interment of ashes at the NJ Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
