Edward Walz

Born and raised in Trenton, NJ. Ed retired from McGraw-Hill Publishing Co., after 40 years, starting in the mail room and working his way up to Manager of Distribution in the magazine department.

Ed is survived by his husband, Bruce G. Campbell. They were life partners for 35 years, and married as soon as they were legally able in December, 2014. Together, they were active members of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Beachwood, NJ., and enjoyed frequent trips into New York City.

Ed has 1 sister, Emily Blackwell, of Whiting, NJ, and was predeceased by 2 sisters, Cecelia DeVere of Chesapeake Beach, MD and Harriet Proccacino of Feasterville-Trevose, PA. .

Ed had 3 children. Vincent Walz of Johnson City, TN, Shannon Bell of Mt. Ephraim, NJ , Harry Walz of Atco, NJ. , and was devoted to his grandson, Scout Walz of Johnson City, TN.

Together, with Bruce, Ed had several nieces and nephews whom he enjoyed seeing whenever he could.

A memorial service will be arranged for a later date, and information will be made available at that time.
