Eleanor A. Rush, 75 of the Whiting section of Manchester Twp., passed away Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. She was a homemaker who cared very much for her family. Born in Rahway, she resided in Bricktown for many years before moving here 20 years ago. She is predeceased by her husband of 32 years, the late Robert T. Rush in 1991 and her two daughters, the late Kim Demeter in 2006 and the late Barbara Mavronas in 2014. Simultaneously, she shares eternal rest with her partner of 25 years the late James K. Sargent, March 30, 2016.
Eleanor is survived by her sons, Michael T. Rush and Robert T. Rush. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Larissa Kovecks, Marko Mavronas and Tiffany Demeter.
Visitation for Eleanor will be Wednesday, April 6 from 4-8pm and on Thursday 10-11am with Services beginning at 11am from the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Road, Whiting, NJ.
