Janice Elaine Harter, 77, of the Whiting section of Manchester Twp. passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family. She was a school bus driver for Dapper Bus Co. in Iselin for many years. Born in Elizabeth, NJ , she resided in Iselin for 34 years before moving to Whiting.
Janice is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert Harter. She is also survived by her sons, Steven & his wife Lydia and Gregory & his wife Janet. Also surviving are her grandchildren Valerie Ellis & her husband Casey; Kristine Schon & her husband Jake; Steven, Jr. & his wife Emily; Matthew Harter and Rene VanWhy & her husband Jarod. Janice is also survived by her great-grandchildren Beckett & Julian Ellis; Jacob, Jolle, Scarlett & Klien Schon; and Sullivan Harter.
There will be a Memorial Service offered on Saturday, December 9th at 12:00pm from the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Road, Whiting, NJ 08759.
