Jeffrey L. Lee

Jeffrey L Lee of Whiting, NJ died peacefully on April 28, 2023 with his beloved wife, Christine, by his side. Jeff was a loving husband of Christine for 50 years, and adored father of Kerry (Chris), James, and Patrick (Christina). He cherished his two granddaughters, Ashlyn and Mackenzie.

Born in Jersey City, NJ on March 25, 1947, Jeff was a son of the late Earl and Kathleen Lee. He was one of their five children and is survived by his brothers, Terry and Brian, and sister, Kathleen. His youngest sister, Maribeth Collins, predeceased him.

Jeff was a proud veteran of the Air Force, and throughout his career he worked in manufacturing.

He was an avid birder and enjoyed researching and photographing birds; a fountain of information for all things birding. You could find Jeff sharing his passion of birds with anyone that was willing and able to listen. While a gentle and quiet man, Jeff had a wonderful sense of humor and quick wit, which will be greatly missed by many.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at 10:45am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 30 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting NJ 08759.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 1-4pm at Whiting Station Clubhouse, 323 Gardenia Drive, Whiting NJ 08759.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Jeff’s memory be made to: St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
