Raymond John Litwinetz

Raymond John Litwinetz, 78, of Whiting, passed away on Saturday, Dec.2, 2017 at Whiting Healthcare Center. Raymond was born in Mannville, NJ and lived in Somerset, Cranford and Randolph before retiring to Whiting 11 years ago. He graduated from NJIT with a degree in mechanical engineering and went on to work as a mechanical engineer at Picatinny Arsenal military base in Wharton, NJ for 34 years, retiring in 1994. Raymond was a member of Whiting Bible Church. He was also an avid gardener.

Raymond is survived by his mother, Helen Litwinetz; his wife of 25 years, Evelyn Litwinetz; his 6 children, son, Jonathan Litwinetz and his wife Sarah of Bayville, NJ and 5 daughters, Kathleen King of Whiting, NJ, Susanna Maya and her husband Wilson of Madison, NJ, Julia Aponte and her husband Jason of Myrtle Beach, SC, Elizabeth Rosica and her husband Robert of Forked River, NJ and Eleanor Foltyn and her husband Tod of Bayville, NJ; 19 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, John Litwinetz of St. Petersburg, FL; sister, Barbara Ann Bowker of Cape May, NJ; and many loving nieces & nephews.

Burial will be private. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 10:30am at Whiting Bible Church, 95 Lacey Rd. Whiting, NJ. Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Road, Whiting, NJ is in charge of the funeral arrangements. .
