I’m in complete disbelief and trying to form the right words “Chuck”! Even tho I only knew u since u started at quad. You were beyond real! And from day one we clicked! I can still hear u saying “listen Linda listen”! All the great advice u gave me and how u always told me see the world for what it is not what I want it to be! From work to even outside of work u are and forever will be one of the realest I’ve ever meet! I’m so sorry for ur family and  your beautiful daughter! I’ll hold on to every word of advice and never forget anything! Oh and I’m finally gonna get the book and read u wanted me too. We have so many great funny memories and always said it’s hard to find real friends and thank god he blessed me with having u even tho I may not understand why u gone but I know u were one of the most stand up guys I ever meet and I’m forever thankful for meeting such an amazing friend/man/father !

Chuck, when I heard of the tragedy, it simply felt surreal. Memories started to flood my mind as soon as I heard. One of the first ones to come was when you and my brother lived together. That was probably the time we spent most together. I was there daily with food and fun.  You taught me a lot and taught me that some things just aren't worth it.  You told me to stay away from some things.  I remember one time I introduced you to this girl I was talking to and you told me that she seemed like trouble. Boy were you right!!! You lived and hard life but you turned your life around. That taught me that no matter where what happens in the past you can you change for the better.

I know the lifestyle we chose when we were younger prevented us from spending more time together, but that's Not how you and I were living anymore! You've Always given me advice and taught me lessons to try n prevent me from making some of the mistakes you've made, but this time you were using that advice to live by example! As I write this and try to collect my thoughts. I’m still in shock that you are gone. I can’t even believe I’m even writing something on your obituary. 
The childhood memories I have of us playing at the house on Broadway, the days of stick ball in parking lot behind the house or just the scary looking basement that none of us wanted to go in. As teenagers we spent a lot of time outside and tried to find who we were and figure out this crazy thing called life.  As we got older we shared other memories and great times at places that shall remain nameless :) . We shared a lot of great and fun times as well as some tough times as friends, family and cousins that at one point was more like brothers.
My head is full of great memories of us as kids, teenagers and young adults that will live with me forever. 
Cuz, I love you and you will forever be missed and remembered.

To my brother, what can I say? The words just aren’t there. I read a quote that said “When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure”. I thank God for the moments we shared. One of my favorite memories was coming home from work to find you on my doorstep with a baby in your arms. I walked up to you and you said meet your niece WrayVahna. Your face was glowing and your voice exuded your infinite love for her.  My heart melted and now my heart hurts. Thank you for adding to my treasure chest. You will never be forgotten for as long as we have memories you will live on in our hearts.  May your soul be at peace. 

He was always in my house with my girls Omayra & Yessy...they always played sidewalk games...very kind hearted and funny...I'd come home with groceries and there he was on my porch,  he'd come out to help me without being asked.
I used to call him Charlie boy..

Damn Richard aka Chuckie , I remember us being best friends at the age of  13-14  , we would hang out all the time and we had a lil crew and we were inseparable, doing what teens do and have fun. We had an amazing bond, also with your family especially. Your mother became like a second mother to me, that's how much time I've spent at your house. I remember your family would take me out to the arcade, bowling and pools, things I've never done with my own family, Karen was so young and Rici and John were the coolest 80s teen couple lol Bon Jovi fans . As time went on we kind of parted ways and began living our lives but I always appreciated those times hanging out with you , the fellas and your family , it was a special time in my life I could never forget and will cherish them forever. Even though I haven't seen you in over 10 plus years we always stayed cool and reached out on Facebook , I just wish we had the chance to sit down and catch up face to face but I'm pretty sure one day will bro, Rest In Peace Bro Love you for life...
