Robert Michael Iamele

Robert Michael Iamele, 81, of Whiting, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at home with his wife by his side. Bob was born and raised in Newark, NJ. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, stationed in Germany. He was an active member of the American Legion Post #227 in Totowa.

Bob enjoyed playing golf and was an avid New York Yankees and Giants fan. Most of all, he loved the moments he was able to spend with his children and grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.

Bob was predeceased by his parents, Sebastian and Louise Iamele; and his first wife, Darlene. He is survived by his loving wife, Angie; his 2 children, Neil Iamele and his partner Peter and Jessica Statham and her husband Greg; and 2 grandchildren, Madison and James.

A Committal Service will be scheduled at the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Rd. in Wrightstown, NJ. Check back for service date and time. Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Rd. Whiting, NJ is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
