Born in Kearny, he lived in Avenel before moving to Whiting 20 years ago.
Prior to retiring in in 1992, he was a Vending Machine Mechanic for Coffeemat in Elizabeth.
Mr. Ferguson was a Navy Veteran of WW II

Surviving is his wife of 48 years Janet Dostal Ferguson. 3 sons: David and his wife Carol of Brick, Timothy and his wife Sharon of Palmer City, PA and Mark and his wife Lori of Howell. A sister Doris Ruckman of CA. 7 Grandchildren: Justin, Alicia, Michele, Jennifer, Nicole and Kayla. 3 Great-Grandchildren: Lia, Sabrina and Jaxson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 23, 2012 from 9 -10 am at the Anderson & Campbell FunerAL Home, 115 Lacey Road, Whiting, NJ. Burial will follow at the General Brigadier Wiilliam c. Doyle veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
