I had the opportunity to work with Billy and Jess at station 9 in the early 90's.  Billy was a good officer and friend. My condolences to the family for your loss.  May you find comfort and peace in God. Praying for all of his family. 

I'd like to attend Billy's funeral .  I'm a 3rd cousin, but Billy and I did a lot of things together when we were kids including attending The Blob at the Wichita Theater.  Both of us had nightmares that night and Billy's including shooting the wall of his room with his BB gun to destroy the Blob that was lurking in the shadows.  We also engaged in a fight against Joel Mitchell in which Inez, Billy's Mom forbid us to punch Joel in the face.  Unfortunately Joel's mother was not there to forbid him to do the same.  We were doomed from the start.  Joel could have beaten 10 of us....big boy.  Glad there were no pictures taken after that one.
