Charles J. Lambert Sr. was a devoted husband and loving father. He leaves behind his wife of 22 years, Laurel, and their children, Nathaniel and TaraAnn, along with two children from a previous marriage, Charles and Christian.
In his early years, Charles traveled and lived in many places and worked various trades which included roofing and construction. He was known as the “go to” person on any job, having the skill and ambition to accomplish any task he set his mind to. He eventually settled in Holliday, Texas to raise his children and provide a stable home. During this time, he went back to school and earned a Certificate in Advanced Welding from Vernon College and gained work as a Millwright through the Union.
Charles loved the outdoors and spent time camping, kayaking, and hiking any chance he could. He especially enjoyed clearing and prepping our timbered land in Arkansas for a future home. Charles was a self-taught guitar player and found peace while playing. He also loved restoring classic cars with a special interest in 65 Plymouth Barracudas and Valiants.
Charles was active and vibrant every day of his life, always inspiring others with his actions.
