Cherie L Travis

She was a loving wife, daughter, granddaughter, sister and first grandchild of George T. and Sadie Winn of Pensacola Fl. Cherie enjoyed traveling, the beach and boating. She worked in the oil & gas industry and banking industry throughout Oklahoma and Texas.

Cherie was preceded in death by her parents, Ray Boling and Barbara (Winn) Boling, paternal grandparents, and maternal grandparents george T Winn and Sadie Winn of pensacola, FL.Carl A Boling and Mary Boling from Rock Hill, SC.

She leaves behind her husband; Bruce Travis of Wichita Falls, TX; one brother Dean Boling and wife Patty of Claremore, OK; two sisters; Lisa Humphries and husband David of Justin, TX, and Jennifer Johnson of Pensacola, FL; brother-in-law; Philip and wife Cynthia Travis of Hurst TX; two sisters-in-law; Janet and husband Don Smith; Patricia Lyles and three nieces and seven nephews.

Her devout faith in God was an encouragement to all she encountered, and she will be greatly missed.

A memorial service is scheduled for 11 AM Thursday, September 22, 2022, at First Baptist Church in Wichita Falls, TX with Dr. Bob McCartney officiating.

For those desiring, the family suggest memorials be made in honor of Cherie to Faith City Mission, First Baptist Church of Wichita Falls or Wichita Falls Humane Society.
