Elsie Lou Hatcher

Elsie was born in Hobart, Oklahoma to A. A. "Billie" Tooley and Tracie (Groth) on May 29, 1940. She was raised on a farm and attended and graduated from Cooperton High School in 1958. After graduation she moved to Wichita Falls and went to work for TG&Y. She eventually went to work for Clinics of North Texas and retired in Data Entry.

Sher married Kenneth Hatcher in 2005, together they enjoyed their marriage. Elsie was a devout member of South Side Baptist Church. She was a member of keenagers, loved to play BUNKO, a member of the Busy Bee Quilters at St. Marks Methodist, she loved to sew, quilt and crochet. When she was younger, she loved to dance. She also loved to cook but could not follow a recipe.

Elsie was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Leasa Rhea Tooley and Husband Kenneth.

She is survived by her church family and friends; Robert Wilkinson and family in Okinawa, Merrinda, Averi, Meloney, Sally, Gaydene, Linda, Kay, Joy and Jerry and Ernie.

A memorial service for Elsie will be held Friday, January 31, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Funeral Home, 1917 Archer City Hwy, Wichita Falls, TX 76302.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls or South Side Baptist Church.
