Evelyn Lou Underwood Dunn

Evelyn Lou “Jerry” Dunn, 77, of Wichita Falls went home to her Heavenly Father Thursday, December 16, 2010 at a local hospital. Services have been scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Monday, December 20, 2010 at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Brother Danny Hodgkins, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park.

Jerry was born May 3, 1933 in Agra, KS to Leonard and Ethel Jirs Underwood. She married Everett Dunn in 1953 in Gainesville, TX. She has lived in Wichita Falls since 1954. Jerry retired from civil service in the payroll department at Sheppard Air Force Base in 1994. The cremains of her beloved dog, Cuddles, will be buried with her. She loved to play Hand and Foot card game and holidays will not be the same without her homemade croissants and German chocolate pie. But, we have peace in the assurance that she is celebrating a “true” Christmas with Jesus on His birthday.

Mrs. Dunn is preceded in death by her husband, Everett Dunn; sister, Charlotte Taylor; son-in-law, Glyn Estep; grandson, Daylon Estep; and her parents.

Survivors include her devoted daughters and son-in-law, Gayla Estep of Norman, OK, Lisa Koger, Tami and Tommy Jeter all of Wichita Falls; brother and sister-in-law, Gerald and Betty Underwood of Westerville, OH; grandchildren, Tonya Harkins of Oklahoma City, OK, Lindsey Sifuentes of Wichita Falls, Amanda Andres of Albuquerque, NM, Clint Pearce of Euless, TX; great-grandchildren, Joshua Tucker, Kayla Tucker, Kaycee Harkins, Landen Sifuentes, Kristie Pearce, and Jay Pearce.
