Jeremiah Caudillo was taken into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, August 3, 2011. Jeremiah lived with Barbara and Mick Galyean in Wichita County where he loved walking country roads and the freedom to explore. He was Barbara’s Most Beloved and Mick’s Best Buddy.
Jeremiah attended school in the Burkburnett ISD, the state of Virginia, and graduated from Iowa Park High School in May 2008. Jeremiah was a beautiful, pure, unconditional loving child of God. His eyes captured everyone’s heart and his smile melted your soul. He was known to everyone as the J-man.
Jeremiah was born in Fairfield, California, on September 6, 1985. He is survived by parents Annette and Victor Caudillo, Jr. of Independence, Oregon; brothers Nathaniel Caudillo who is returning from service with the United States Marine Corp in Afghanistan; and Joshua Caudillo who is serving with the United States Air Force in England and wife Emily, niece Norah, and nephew Aedan. His grandparents, Victor and Manuela Caudillo reside in Oregon. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins of the Caudillo and Gossen families.
Jeremiah’s Texas family who loved, adored and cherished him are Barbara and Mick Galyean of Iowa Park; and their son, Jim of China Spring, Texas, his wife Cristina and children Ella and Nolan. He is also survived by several special aunts and their families; Linda Mahoney, Darlene Polk, Beverly Lee, Kay Hitt and Sue Schabraum, who were some of Jeremiah’s greatest, loving fans.
His case manager, Linda Workman, of Daybreak Community Services, assisted Jeremiah in support services and he enjoyed his friends at the Daybreak Dayhab. He loved to be social no matter where he was. Jeremiah was fortunate to have an incredible medical support team who treasured him. His “pool posse” at the Iowa Park pool, his Iowa Park Faith Baptist Church VBS peers and teachers, and his Horseshoe Bend neighbors were his favorite social entertainment. He loved anything that had lights, music, and movement. He will forever be missed and has and will continue to forever make a lasting impression on all who met him.
Funeral services will be held at Hampton Vaughan Chapel at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 8, 2011. Interment will follow in Crestview Memorial Park. Visitation will be at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home on Sunday, August 7, 2011 from 6 – 8 PM.
