I will never forget you as a friend and that unique golf swing.  It didn't go far, but it was always down the middle of the fairway.  Rest in peace my friend.

I graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School, Dallas, in 1967. Ms. greaves was our Tri HiY sponsor. She was a wonderful sponsor who cared about each of us individually, as well as her many students. (She was only 8 years older than we were!)
I forwarded her obituary to several high school friends who all responded with love, great memories and warm thoughts of the time she gave to us, the laughter, wisdom, kindness and strength she showed us.  What a role model for us!
I remembered she went to East Texas State University but did not realize she was from Wichita Falls. My husband and I have lived in WF for over 40 years.  I wish I had known when she was here. I would have dearly loved to have seen her.

Class of 1979!

A one in a million human being.  As a coach and teacher, Ms. Greaves inspired, disciplined, and encouraged us.  She taught us to be strong, resilient, committed, loyal, team mates and leaders (and "ladies" as she referred to us).  She plucked a shy, fat, scared kid out of Freshmen PE and gave me the confidence to play organized sports for the first time which changed the course of my life. I still repeat Ms. Greavisms to this day.  My personal favorite was "Chadwell!!! You're thinking with your butt again.!!!!  NSHS 1980

So many memories of Miss Lola through the summers of visiting my Aunt  Wanda and my Grandparents lake house.   Lots off fun and laughs. Rest in peace, my friend.  Hugs and love til we meet again.

Lola, You were my best buddy during our senior year (1958-59) at WFSH and you will be my friend forever. I love your lovely Spirit and kind demeanor. Your passing is not the end of your story. My thoughts and prayer to Lola's family and friends. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She always had a smile on her face, and I will always remember her laugh and golf swing.

Prayers to Lola's friends & family.  I will always remember her laugh & beautiful smile.  She introduced me to the game of 'Golf'.....and helped  me enjoy the sport with laughter.  What a wonderful lady!

Prayers to her family and loved ones. She left a mark on many young ladies growing up . She taught us to be strong and coached a lot of good athletes for our Steer teams . She will always be remembered and she did make an impact on so many .

I used to work with Lola at North Side High School.  I loved her sense of humor, her feistiness, and her love of dogs.  She will be missed.
