Millie was born on July 24, 1941 to the late M.T. Choate and Ruby (Peters) Choate in Byers TX. She attended high school in Wichita Falls TX. She was married to the love of her life, Phil Alsup Sr. on October 11, 1971 in Wichita Falls TX. She retired from Walmart as the Assistant Manager in the Automotive Department, but her all-time favorite job and title was “Momo”, as she loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren with all her heart.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Phil Alsup, Sr.; daughter, Sharon Clark; and brother Eddie Choate.
She is survived by her children Tammye Montgomery and husband Randy; Mark Clark and wife Julia; Rhonda Moser and husband Jeff; her partner-in-crime, Phillip (Flip) Alsup Jr; Michael Choate Sr. and wife Laterha. She is also survived by her grandchildren Amber Martin and husband Kenneth, Brittany Carlock and husband Gauge, Tyler Moser and fiancé Faith Garrett, Michael Choate Jr, Zachary Choate, Alexander Choate, and great-grandchildren Clark Martin, Caleb Martin, Cade Martin, Ryder Carlock, Audrey Carlock, and nephew Sean Choate and wife Tanya.
Millie was extremely fortunate to be able to spend the last 5 months in Rhonda’s home, where she could just ring a bell, and food would magically show up.
The family also acknowledges the incredible staff at both Healing Hands Healthcare and Hospice of Wichita Falls for their selfless care of Millie and the entire family. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Hospice of Wichita Falls for needed small and extra-small nightgowns.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.hamptonvaughancrestview.com for the Alsup family.
