Sandra was born on December 1,1950 in Arlington County, Virginia to Joseph and Nellie Virginia Jones Mills. She loved to cook, gardening, taking care of family, and spending time with her grandkids. She loved her dog, Harley. She was preceded in death by a sister: Joan Riggles.
Survivors include her children: Christine Marie Leonard of Pennsylvania, Robert Jean Leonard of Wichita Falls, Steven Jean Leonard and wife Beth of Wichita Falls, and Shari Roberson and husband Eddie of Iowa Park; sister: Terry Thomas of Virginia; grandchildren: Jennifer Lynne Sayre, Jerrica Magnolia Leonard, Samantha Marie Reed, Marissa Marie Reed, Natalie Marie Reed, and Devon Wilkerson; and great-grandchildren: Nayeli Bernal, Ellianna Bernal, and Amelia Bernal.
The family regarded her as “Our Hero”.
