Angeline "Angel" L. Evans

Angeline "Angel" L. Evans, 45, of Goddard, Kansas peacefully passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023 in Wichita. Angel was born the daughter of Bruce and Marilyn Simmons on August 17, 1977 in Wichita, Kansas. Angel went to Bishop Carroll High School and later graduated from Newman University on a volleyball scholarship. Angel and Joe Evans were united in marriage on September 17, 2009 in Eureka Springs, AR. She worked as an X-Ray Tech and a Nuclear Med Tech at St. Francis Hospital for many years and other area hospitals and doctor’s offices. She was an incredibly talented cake maker, avid craft designer, loving mother, and devoted wife. Angel absolutely loved life and enjoyed fishing, camping on the Arkansas River, spending time at Table Rock Lake and being with friends and family. She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Simmons, paternal grandparents, Pat and Martha Simmons and maternal grandparents Angeline and Bernard Ahne. Survivors include her husband, Joe Evans, children, Briar Irvin, Callen Evans, Brenna Evans, parents Bruce and Marilyn Simmons, sister Jenn Titus, mother and father in-law Jim and Ruth Evans and many extended family.

Celebration of Life will be on March 4th, 2023 at Venue 3130 from 4-7pm - 3130 W. Central in Wichita.
