Hinshaw, Annabelle, 91, of Wichita, homemaker, former teacher and secretary, passed peacefully from this earth on June 30 in Dallas, TX. Annabelle was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Laverne Bowers of Springfield CO, and her husband, Dr. Verlin O. Hinshaw of Wichita. She is survived by her sister, Eva Mae Dunlap of Colorado Springs, CO; son, Daryl Hinshaw of Dallas; daughter, Kathleen (“Kathy”) Hinshaw of Larned, KS; grandson, Eric Johnson of Bel Aire, KS; two great grandsons, Samuel and Simon Johnson; and nieces and nephews in Kansas, Colorado, Missouri, and Texas. A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, July 12 at Resthaven Mortuary, with visitation one hour prior. Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness).
