She married Lee Gibson in 1952, and together they shared 3 children, John, Karen and Linda.
Barbara was a beautician for many years. Later, she worked for the Coleman Company where she was a office clerk.
Barbara was an expert seamstress and she also enjoyed crocheting. Her biggest accomplishment was being a mother to her children. She was very involved in her church, First Christian Church in Valley, Center, Kansas, was a Sunday school teacher, and enjoyed doing vacation bible school in the summer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lee; sister, Thelma Corzine; and brother, Bud Corzine.
She leaves behind her three children: John Gibson, Karen (Sam) Camacho, and Linda Davis, and many grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024, at 9:00 am, followed by a Homegoing Celebration at 10:00 am both at Advantage Funeral Home, 4408 W. Central, Wichita, Kansas 67212. A graveside service will be at Caldwell Cemetery, 869-897 W 160th St S., Caldwell, Kansas at 12:45 pm.
