Betty was a registered nurse and was employed with St. Francis Hospital and the Kansas Masonic Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband Vincent Bean and is survived by her children; John Bean of Wichita, Adrienne Marcy of Portland, OR, Antoinette Bean of Wichita, Christopher Bean of Wichita, and Natalie Swinson of Derby, 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Rosary 7pm, Friday, October 14, 2011 and Funeral Mass 10am, Saturday, October 15, 2011 both at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 132 S. Millwood, Wichita, Kansas 67213.
