Beverly Lucille (Speckeen) Betts, age 88 passed away on January 8, 2026, at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita. Beverly was born on December 15, 1937 to Harry Herman Speckeen and Dorothy Lucille (Marsh) Speckeen in Ortonville, Minnesota.
Preceded in death by her parents, brother Neil and Son Craig.
Her surviving children are Chad Betts of Newton, KS, Clay Bett of Tulsa,OK and Cindy (Cochran) Betts of Goddard, KS, her grandchildren Rudy Betts and Adeline (Ehrlich) Betts.
Beverly spent her child rearing years as a housewife in Wichita, before moving back to Ortonville to spend time with her elderly parents. After her parents deaths, she moved to Southern California, to work as a Massage Therapist for La Costa Health Club. Several of her clients were celebrities...including Barbra Streisand, Neil Diamond and Stevie Wonder. She moved back to Wichita in her late 50's to be near her children. She worked a few years for Beau Monde Health Club, before retiring. In retirement, she was active in several social groups and church.
A private family graveside service will be held.
