Bill enlisted in The United States Air Force and proudly served his country from 1950 - 1954. This was all during the Korean War and he was primarily stationed in Okinawa, Japan. He married Patricia Marie (Troyer) Naylor on May 31, 1958 and together they enjoyed a loving and happy marriage for nearly 68 years.
He had a 40 year career in the aircraft industry primarily with Cessna. He was a dedicated member of independent christian churches and served as Elder at Antioch Christian Church.
Bill was a dedicated servant of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He had countless friends who loved and respected him and touched many lives.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John William Naylor and Gladys Merle (Wright) Naylor; his siblings, Wilma Naylor and Ronald Naylor; and grandson, Jordan Thorp.
Bill is survived by his wife, Patricia Marie (Troyer) Naylor; his children, Kristi Thorp and Troy Naylor; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Antioch Christian Church, 3741 W 15th St N, Wichita, KS 67203, US, on March 12, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Service at the same location on March 12, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
A Committal Service will take place at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209, US, on March 12, 2026, following the funeral service.
Serving as pallbearers are: David Griekspoor, Justin Kling, Clay Troyer, Calvin Tart, Elliott Pinkham and David Worthan.
