Schartz, Cara Lynn (Phillips), 57, born Nov 6, 1961 Wichita, KS, died Sept 8, 2019 Wichita, KS. A women who gained the status of Master Gardener, she was also known as the "flower lady" to many in her last few years. Cara was a woman who cared about everyone in her life from when she was young, all the way to the end. She loved with all her heart. Her greatest things to do with her spare time consisted of going camping and taking wonderful country drives. This woman had a passion for scary movies and loved Halloween. Her entire neighborhood knew of this, must see stop every year and the scary witch lady saying, “Come here little kiddies”. Many kids brought their kids there over the years. Cara was preceded by her father, Dennis Schartz; mother, Sharon Smith; and husband, Robert Phillips. She is survived by her sister, Teresa Dodson; brother, Dennis Schartz II; children, Sherri Malsky, William Jernigan, and Matthew Phillips. She had Five grandchildren. Graveside service will be held 10:00am, September 21, 2019, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
