David "Pat" Barton

Barton, David “Pat,” 71, retired Wichita Eagle Contractor. Loving husband and father, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2012. “Pat” served his country in the Air National Guard. He was a heart transplant patient, living for 19 years and 8 days, after his surgery. He was preceded in death by his parents, James C. and Ada E. Barton and older sister, Myrle. He is survived by his loving wife, Vivien; son, Jason and daughter, Jody; sister, Mary; countless nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews, extended “family” and many, many friends. Memorial service: 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 4, 2012, Fairmount United Church of Christ, 1650 Fairmount, Wichita 67208. In honor of “Pat’s” casual nature, please feel free to dress casually.
