Dixon was a wonderful man!!! Was like my father! Knew him for many years at Coleman! Dixon will be missed alot!!

My brothers and I grew up with Dick and Denny Cullimore at opposite ends of Walnut Street on the east side of Frankfort.  There we played baseball in the pasture field behind our house, rode bikes on the dirt roads, and went swimming at the town pool on most days in the summer.  Dick and Denny liked the open timber behind their house and often went fishing in the Black Vermillion River.  Dick was always a compact muscular guy...always had six pak abs.  He was an excellent catcher, a speedy sprinter, and a mean fullback.  He could really throw the shotput and was a cool crooner too.  He always had a funny way of "growling" when running track or the football!  I had just connected with him on Facebook a few weeks before he passed.  He was the kind of friend you never forget.

I am shocked and so very sad to hear of Dick's death.  I knew Dick when I attended Frankfort school.  Dick and I just reconnected about a year ago through a mutual friend, Bev. It was a blessing to connect with an old friend and to find out that Dick had given his heart to the Lord.  I know that he is up in Heaven praying and singing for you that he left behind. It was a blessing to know him.  I am truly  sorry for his passing.  God Bless you.  Sandie Cox

I was so sorry to hear about Dick.  I to have had the the heart catherization and never realized the the seriousness until I heard of Dick's ordeal.  I have kept in touch with Dick through facebook and had several opportunities to visit with Dick at a few of our Frankfort High School Alumni Banquets.  I considered Dick as a friend and he will be missed by many of us that knew him.  Our prayers are with the family.

I was saddened to hear of Dixon's passing.  I had the privelege of working with Dixon over the years at Coleman.  He was always a man of great character.  It was always such a pleasure to visit and work with him.  I would like to offer my prayers and best wishes for the Cullimore family, during what I know must be a very difficult time.

Dick was a fine athlete and a fierce competitor from his early youth through high school.  He was a senior when I was a lowly frosh and he set a fine example of leadership for his underclassmen.  But he was not all brawn as he had a wonderful singing voice which he happily shared and again showed us that you could be a "Jock" and still put on black slacks, a white sports coat and then not just sing but belt it out with the same energy he used to swing a bat through the strike zone.  Dick loved the Lord and gave testimony to that fact whenever it was appropriate.  God bless you Dick and God bless the family you leave behind.

I was shocked an saddened when I heard of his passing.  I had lost track of him over the years, and found him on facebook a couple of years ago, and we have emailed back and forth since.  He and I used to pal around a long time ago.  His faith gave me a lot of inspiration since we had reconnected.  My condolences to all.  He will be missed but not forgotten.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of this friend from my high school years. We know he is with the Lord and will be there to greet all his family and friends.  He will be missed here though.

Just recently became reunited with Dick (facebook) and will always remember the pickup basketball games at the grade school. He will be missed.

I was shocked to hear of the loss of Dixon.  He was a ball of energy and always a joy to work with.  We at Coleman will miss hearing from him and  know that there will definately be an empty spot in your heart.  God bless all of you and I pray Dixon is resting in God's arms now. Our heart and prayers go out to your family. I will greatly miss Dick as he was a great man that loved his family. I have many fond memories of growing up and going to school with him in Frankfort. We really bonded when we were roommate at Highland Junior College. As the years passed we reconnected via email and facebook and interacted weekly. I remember how proud he was that he would be providing care for his Grandaughter. That man had a big heart and he will be missed so badly. I will always carry him in my heart.

We remember Dick from growing up with him in Frankfort and attending grade school and high school (FHS 1964).  We only recently have renewed our friendship through email, thank God for that.  He will be missed by many and he had a heart of gold and it family meant the world to him.
