Donald D. Rudrow

Donald Dale Rudrow was born January 10, 1938, in New Albany, KS to Charles S. and Frances M. (Morgan) Rudrow. He was the fourth of six children; Cecil and wife, Davida, Charles Max and wife, Lucille, Mary and husband, Gene Wilson, Karl and wife, Nancy, and Anna and husband, Charles Fryar. He is survived by his brother and his wife, Karl and Nancy and his sister-in-law Davida.

On December 9, 1959 Don married Darlene (Davidson). She died on May 11, 2019. Together they had four daughters, Kelly and husband, Terry Whitesell, Leigh Ann (deceased), Leslie and husband, George Shirley, and Rhonda. Other survivors include his grandchildren: Jacob (deceased), Jordon, Alex and wife, Hilary, Matthew, Hannah and husband, Cuyler; great grandchildren, Huxley and Juniper.

Don stared his education in Ellsworth, KS and eventually graduated from Wichita North High School. After graduation he also studied at Wichita Technical Institute and Wichita Vocational Technical School.

In 1956 he started his employment at Safeway Stores as a carry-out and by 1981 as a Manager. After management he became a truck driver with them until 1985. After Safeway, he worked at Furniture Options until his retirement in 2001.

Don enjoyed fishing, camping, and watching his teams; the Chicago Cubs, the Denver Broncos, and the Boston Celtics.
