Kope, Edward Mott III “Eddie”, age 28, of Cocoa Beach passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at Cape Canaveral Hospital. Eddie was born in Cocoa Beach, FL and worked as a cook for The Italian Courtyard for 12 years. Eddie was a sweet boy who loved his family, loved to cook and make people laugh. Eddie is survived by his father, Edward Mott Kope, Jr., Julie Kope; mother, Sally Makepeace; brother, Eric Makepeace, Alex Kope; sister, Kimberly Kope; nephew, Nicholas Makepeace; aunts, Karen Lasho, Trish, Nancy, Connie, Liz, Kippy and Jennifer Makepeace; uncles Richard and Dana; his many cousins and best friends, Joy Martin, Kelly Lanham, Carly Human, Rachael, Dustin, Matt, Colin, Dalton Cody Makepeace, Gloria Marshall, Paris and Blaise Bishop, Mikey and Hunter Fahey, Sean and Buffalo. A memorial service was held Monday, Feb. 7, 2011 at Jackson St. Beach, Cape Canaveral, FL at 4 p.m. A reception was held at The Italian Courtyard. Graveside service will be held 11 am Saturday, Feb. 12 at Highland Cemetery, Winfield, KS.
