Fredrick William Norton

Fredrick William Norton, age 71, devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to many entered into eternal rest September 30, 2024. He is proceeded in death by his parents, William "Bill" and Barbara; brothers, Gary and Dallas; grandson, Marcel "Jr," and granddaughter Juliette. Fred is survived by his ex-wife, Sharon, mother of their four children, Brian, Melanie, Kimberly and Ashley; grandchildren Bryan, Alexandria (Girly), Saul, Grace, Elizabeth, Tragen, Landon, Gunner, and Summit; brothers, David and Mike; sisters, Eveda and Brenda and great grandchildren Kaleah, Kylan, Xander and Mazikeen.

Fredrick was born in El Dorado, Kansas, September 21, 1953. Fred lived most of his life as a car salesman and worked hard from sunup till sundown. He enjoyed family time, fishing, football, basketball, baseball and finding ways to make an extra buck! He was very caring and would enjoy anyone sitting at his dinner table and offering them a meal. He would help many that he barely knew and has made many friends by doing just that.

In the recent years, his grandchildren were the highlight of his life. He smiled so big when any of them came to visit and usually left with a handful of surprises. He will truly be missed dearly by his family and friends.

A visitation for Fredrick will be held Thursday, October 10, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209 and a funeral service will occur Friday, October 11, 2024, at 3:00 PM, at Resthaven Mortuary, with a graveside service immediately following at Resthaven Gardens of Memory in the Garden of Christus, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209.
