Garret Wayne Oliphant, 26, loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025. He was born November 18, 1998 in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Curtis Wayne Oliphant and Michelle Rosenboom.
Garret attended local schools and graduated from Goddard High School, Goddard, KS, with the class of 2017. Garret will be remembered greatly by his family and extended family, including the Thompson and Corner families.
During his free time, he was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed watching football, boxing, and playing fantasy football.
He is survived by: his mother, Michelle Rosenboom; his father, Curtis (Shelby) Oliphant; his sister, Britnee (Chris) Pharis; his brother, Jordan (Erin) Oliphant; his grandparents, Debora Brittian Lynde, Wilma Swaggart, and Jerry (Madeline) Rosenboom; his great-grandmother, Earline Brittian; along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM ~ 7:00 PM on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Resthaven Mortuary.
Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Garden of Christus.
