Gary Alan Tufly

Gary Alan Tufly, 79, of Goddard, Kansas passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. He was born April 10, 1946, in Rifle, Colorado, the son of Walter A. and Jane (Lytle) Tufly. He married Carol Tufly in Baker County Georgia on June 12th, 1971. They had two children Marshall and Stacy.

Gary served in the U.S. Navy from 1965-1972 as a Data Systems Technician Petty Officer First Class. After the Navy, Gary obtained his masters of science and engineering. Gary worked for NCR corp as a GM, ITT Aerospace as a Program Manager/ Electrical Engineer - where he helped design portions of the first space station. Lastly at Aeroflex, where he specialized in DOD communication and radar systems.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents and brother.

Gary is survived by: his wife, Carol; his children Marshall (Chris), Stacy (Joey); along with his grandchildren, Cameron, Olivia, Hunter, Kinley, and Kaelynn.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM on Monday, June 23, 2025, at Resthaven Mortuary.

Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Resthaven Mortuary Chapel, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209. Graveside Service will follow at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Kansas Veterans' Cemetery, 1208 North College Street, Winfield, Kansas 67156.
