She worked for H.D. Lee Company after attending Ponoma High School. She moved to Salina in 1975 and met and married Al Farris. Together they fostered many children for 25 years.
Gloria is survived by her brother Larry Griffin of Pomona and by her children: Trevor Britain (Nancy) of Columbus Ga, Tami Hayden (Keith) of Wichita, Derek Britain (Monica) of Shawnee and Nevin Farris of Salina. 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother Phil and her late husband Alvin.
