Sims, Harold E., 82, man of God who was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather and retired Bemis Bag Co. plant engineer passed away May 25, 2015. Harold is preceded in death by his parents, Rucker and Earle Sims; daughter-in-law, Jill Sims; 2 brothers and 3 sisters. He is survived by his wife, Irene; sons, Alan of Little Rock, AR, Kerry (Suzie) of Farmers Branch, TX; daughter, Valerie (Kasey) Beltz of Wichita; sister, Betty (Marlin) Craig of Wenatchee, WA; grandchildren, Wesley, Justin, Travis Sims, Kody (Melanie) Beltz, Tyler Sims, Kara (Andy) Munley, Tara Sims, Kyle Beltz; great grandson, Jacob Sims. Visitation is 6 to 8 pm Wednesday at Resthaven Mortuary. Funeral service is 10:00 am Thursday, May 28 at Westside Freewill Baptist Church. Memorials may be sent to Alzheimer’s Association.
