Hazel Ann Hand

Hand, Hazel, 80, entered into peaceful rest April 8, 2016. Hazel spent much of her time cheering on the Atlanta Braves and loved watching her Shockers and Jayhawks play basketball. Some of Hazel's other favorite pastimes included bowling and scrapbooking. She had a deep love for her Lord and Savior and was a devoted member of Grace Baptist Church. Hazel married her husband of almost 61 years, Dean Hand, whom survives her. She is also survived by sons, Mark *(Marlyne), Chris (Debbie) Hand; daughter, Dianna (Rick) Stephenson; daughter-in-law, Janine Hand; grandchildren, Sheena Wilson, Ryan Wilson, Stephanie (E.J.) Leopold, Robert Stephenson, Eddie Stephenson, Richard Stephenson, Noah Hand, Christina Hand, Stephanie Wasserman, Hunter Wasserman, Chris (Laura) Temples, Kyle Hand and Heather Jones; great grandchildren, Chloe Ellis, Haley Ellis, Victoria Cullom, Marina Cullom and Cavern Cullom. Hazel was preceded in death by son, Larry Hand; parents, Lloyd and Anna Wintjen; and bothers, Robert Wintjen and Dwayne Wintjen. To celebrate Hazel's life there will be a visitation Monday, 5-7 PM, April 11, 2016 at Resthaven Mortuary with a Funeral Service 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Grace Baptist Church.
