Imo Marie Terrill

Terrill, Imo Marie, 87, of Wichita, Kansas passed away Thurs. April 7, 2016 in Wichita. Imo was born on June 21, 1928 in Russellville, AR the daughter of Ulysses Marcus and Lucy Victoria (Harden) Roberts. She attended Wichita State University and Emporia State Teachers College; her main courses of study were Administration of Justice and Counseling. Imo was the secretary/director of career development and training for Head Start in Wichita. She later retired from Excel Industries, Inc. in Wichita. She loved debating, gardening, cooking, knitting, sewing, all kinds of puzzles, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Leroy, Dorothy, Lucy, twin brothers Coy and Troy, Jean, Mark, Freddie, and Pearl. Survivors include her loving children, Patricia Lamont of Arkansas, Ella (Wayne) Greer of Columbia, MO, Rhonda Hunter of Wichita, Mary Lamar of Conway Springs, KS, Barbara Hicks of El Dorado, KS, Jeff (Traclene) Kraus of Wichita, siblings, Edith “Wink” Nuessen of Wichita, Arley Roberts of Arkansas, Eva “Inez” Sprenger of Wichita, grandchildren, Kathileen, Mark, Dorothy Jean, Robert, Graham, Brian, Dylan, Erin, Christopher, Samuel, Heather, Tessa, Brittany, Justin, Joshua and Kelsey, many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Tues. April 12, 2016 from 12pm to 2pm with Funeral services following at 2pm both at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Catholic Charities Our Daily Bread Food Pantry, 2825 S. Hillside St., Wichita, 67216.
