Johnson, Jenna L., precious daughter, beloved sister and dear aunt passed away Sunday, August 10, 2014. Jenna was born December 6, 1964 to Sally Johnson and Merle Johnson. Despite being born deaf and enduring numerous lifelong health issues, she lived a happy, productive, caring and fulfilled life. Her love of God and Jesus allowed her to face her many challenges with grace and dignity. Jenna graduated from Kansas School for the Deaf in 1985. She spent the next 20 years working at Fidelity Bank. Jenna will be greatly missed by those who survive her; her mother Sally, father Merle (Ellen), brothers David (Lisa) Johnson of Wichita, Tom (Deborah) Johnson of Overland Park, and sisters Gina (Tim) Lauer and Becky Janssen also of Wichita. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, her beloved cat Mitsy and many lifetime friends. Funeral service is 1:00 PM Saturday, August 16 at Resthaven Mortuary Chapel. To honor Jenna, memorials have been established with The Juvenile Diabetic Association and World Wildlife Fund-Polar Bears.
