Jimmy Esparza Santiago III, 77, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. He was born August 12, 1947 in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Jimmy Esparza Santiago and Emma Louise (Brunsback) Santiago.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Jimmy and Emma Santiago; his brother, Larry Wilson; his sister, Toni Spence; along with his grandson, Christian Santiago.
He is survived by: his loving wife of 59 years, Ofelia L. (Villarreal) Santiago; his children, Jimmy (Lisa) Santiago IV and Ricky (Heather) Santiago; his grandchildren, Anna "Raquel" Santiago, Patricia Santiago, Olivia Santiago, Miranda Santiago, Dominic Santiago, and Ricky Santiago Jr.; his sisters, Tonia Brunsback and Kimberly Sanger; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
There will be no viewing; cremation has been chosen.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM ~ 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 5, 2025; Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 PM, both at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209. A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with: Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 South Market Street, Wichita, Kansas 67202.
