John Marvin Reynolds

Born on July 4, 1944, in Creston, Iowa, John was the son of John Reynolds and Dorothy Anderson-Reynolds. He graduated from East Union High School and went on to build a life marked by dedication, kindness, and humor.

John married the love of his life, Joleen Crow, and together they shared many cherished memories. He was a devoted husband and a caring father to their daughter, Jennifer and son, Michael.

Professionally, John worked as a Parts Clerk, a role in which he was known for his reliability and attention to detail. He was also deeply involved in his faith community at Calvary Bible Church, where he served as a deacon, elder, and board member. His commitment to the church reflected his generous spirit and love for others.

John had a deep affection for animals, especially his beloved dogs, Heidi and Alex. He was known for his sense of humor, always joking and bringing smiles to those around him. His warmth and compassion touched many lives.

He is survived by his wife, Joleen; daughter, Jennifer; sister Marilyn Galloway; cousins including Ralph Nurnberg; and in-laws Isle Elaine and Monty Hill. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Michael.

A Celebration of Life for John will be held Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Calvary Bible Church, 4830 N Hillside St, Wichita, KS 67219.
