Kathryn Garcia, 87, passed away peacefully at her daughter's home in Vienna, Virginia on January 1, 2011. Born in St. Paul, MN, she was raised in Hutchinson, KS. She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 69 years, Antonio Garcia; and sons, Tony and David. Survived by her beloved daughters Priscilla Sprague (Jack), Virginia Breit (Joe), Martha Garcia and Anita Hudack, 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren, brothers Tony and Pete Marquez and sister Stella Marquez-Maldonado all of Hutchinson. Kathryn and Tony resided in Wichita, KS where she was an active member of her church and volunteered for numerous organizations in the community. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Visitation with family present will be held on Wed. 4-8pm, viewing Thurs., January 6 from 8-8pm at DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary. Visitation 11-1pm, Fri.
